We wouldn’t have had it any other way! Selecting a photographer and videographer was an incredibly intimidating piece of the planning process. We had several other consultations before meeting Val; the world was saving the best for last! As a same sex couple, it was of most importance that the team we assembled was inclusive and experienced with LGBTQ+ weddings. We first met Val at a wedding expo and that’s where we fell in love! Her energy and easy-going demeaner made you feel comfortable from the get-go. Her focus was not on selling you a big expansive package but instead listening to your vision and creating something custom for our special day. Val crafted a photo/video package that fit our needs and budget perfectly! Part of the package was an engagement session; this was an incredibly valuable opportunity to build our relationship and get to know her style. She made us feel so relaxed and at ease; it felt like we were shotting with an old friend! The shots were stunning and of exceptional quality, but most importantly, she captured US! On our wedding day, Val and her team arrived on time and with a plan! They worked flawlessly with each other and the other vendors, keeping the us right on schedule yet never feeling rushed. Our nerves were through the roof, but Val and team constantly found ways make us laugh and loosen up. They were there to do their job but seemed genuinely happy to be part of our celebration, we felt that 100%! I am so grateful to have selected Val and her team; they shot beautiful, posed portraits but also captured all the life in candid moments. Weddings go by oh so fast, but we are glad we get to relive every memory through Val’s artistry! We are forever grateful!
